Gary Wiens hosted us for an outdoor tasting night featuring five Islay whiskies. It was a wonderful exploration of what Islay has to offer…from an unpeated offering from Bunnahabhain to an entry level affordable bottle of McClelland’s. Then some staples from Bowmore, Laphroaig, and an extremely complex and delightful Ardbeg, I assure you every drop was savoured!
